This MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC MDS-B-SPJ2-22 spindle drive unit is ready to replace your defective spindle drive and comes with a warranty.
MDS-B-SVJ2, MDS-B-SPJ2 and MR-J2-CT Series have been approved as the products which have been installed in the electrical enclosure. The minimum enclosure size is based on 150 percent of each MDS-B-SVJ2, SPJ2 and MR-J2-CT Series combination. And also, design the enclosure so that the ambient temperature in the enclosure is 55°C (131°F) or less, refer to the specifications manual. (MDS-B-SVJ2: BNP-B3937, MDS-B-SPJ2: BNP-B2164, MR-J2-CT: BNP-B3944) "The user must include the use of a 100 cfm fan spaced 4 in. above the drive.
(1) The unit has been downsized and reduced in weight with the incorporation of a high speed, high integration LSI, high speed DSP and IGBT
(2) The speed response has been improved with the high speed DSP, improving the cutting capacity and improving the cutting precision during positioning control.
(3) A smooth operation and short time orientation time have been realized by incorporating the high speed orientation method that enables direct orientation from high speeds.
(4) All spindle parameters can be set from the NC side CRT screen making operation easier.
MDS-B Series servo and spindle system outline
The MDS-A Series is a drive system that corresponds to the MELDAS M500 Series NC that has been developed to totally connected the servo drive and spindle drive sections. The MDS-B Series is the successor to the MDS-A Series, and has been developed to satisfy European Safety Standards. This Series has the following features.
Compact and lightweight
The converters that were conventionally built in each servo and spindle drive have been integrated into one unit. The drive system volume, installation area and weight have been drastically reduced with the incorporation of high density mounted electronic parts IGBT-IPM (intelligent Power Module) and the high performance heat radiating fin.
